Super duplex steel coil tubing is generally made from grades such as UNS S32750 and S32760, which exhibit a balanced austenitic-ferritic microstructure. The alloy has high chromium (24–26%), nickel (6–8%), molybdenum (3–5%), and nitrogen content, which gives excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking. Its mechanical properties include better tensile and yield strength, high fatigue resistance, and good ductility.
