Stainless Steel 17-7 PH is a precipitation-hardened alloy made of chromium, nickel, and aluminum. Typically, it contains 17% chromium, 7% nickel, and a small percentage of aluminum (0.75–1.5%) to enhance hardening. This alloy strikes a perfect balance between impressive strength, moderate corrosion resistance, and excellent fatigue properties. The 17-7 PH Tubing boasts a tensile strength of up to 1400 MPa and a yield strength of about 1200 MPa in the TH 1050 condition. It shows minimal distortion during heat treatment, offers great formability when annealed, and maintains high strength after hardening.
